Jason Hill

My background in training started over 20 years ago when I first started training fellow athletes at the young age of 18. I pursued my passion at the University of Northern Iowa and majored in Public Health Promotion with an emphasis on Exercise Science. I was chosen to lead the personal training program at UNI and appointed the personal trainer of the university president. I was selected out of a large applicant pool for an internship with the Minnesota Vikings strength and conditioning staff in 1999 and subsequently was hired on after the internship ended. I worked with the Vikings strength and conditioning staff for about 4 years, working one on one with the likes of Hall of Famers Randy Moss, Chris Carter, Randall McDaniel and John Randle among many more. After the Vikings I moved on to various personal training positions working with the general population and lost my passion for training over the years. I ventured out in to different career paths for about 8 years and completely lost my way until my oldest son started participating in sports. I became a coach of various sports for him and began training him as I didn’t see any programs that I felt fit the bill. I wanted one on one attention to detail for him and nothing in the area offered what I wanted for him as his dad. This all rekindled a spark and made me realize what my true passion in life was…working with athletes, and in particular youth athletes. I have never been more passionate or driven about anything in my life than I am now. I have taken my previous experiences, knowledge and connections and compiled it all in to what I feel is the ultimate program for youth athletes. I’ve upped my game and became certified as a mental toughness coach to address the mental aspect of youth athletes. I became certified with one of the top nutrition programs to offer guidance on nutrition for youth athletes. I’m now a Certified Functional Strength Coach by one of the world’s foremost authorities on youth athlete conditioning, Mike Boyle. And finally, I’ve outfitted my private gym with the top of the line equipment used by professional teams around the country. I believe I’ve put in place the absolute premium training program for youth athletes in the area and I’m able to do it at a less than premium cost to the parents of these athletes.
